Nutrition

Healthy and nutritious best describe the diverse food choices offered at the Harold & Grace Baker Centre

Our menus are developed by a registered dietitian and a professional chef in consultation with residents. This careful planning results in the preparation of tasty and healthy meal offerings that suit all preferences and cultural needs. Our skilled teams are experienced at providing specialized nutritional care needs such as diabetic, renal and texture modified diets.

Along with the variety of food choices, there are themed menus for holidays, and favourite seasonal fare. Tea, coffee, juice and snacks are offered three times daily.

Beyond the focus on nutrition, we cater to the needs of residents by fostering a warm and friendly dining environment. At the Baker Centre, meal time is also social time, designed to nourish in every sense.
