Sharing The Caring Support Group The Harold and Grace Baker Centre organizes and facilitates a Community-wide Caregiver Support Group. Informational, educational and round table discussions are part of our program.
The sessions are held in the surrounding York area, at the following locations including at the Harold & Grace Baker Centre, Greenborough Community Church, Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church and select nearby schools. Please see posters of current events at the front entrance of the residence, in the Family Centre and in the monthly Baker Bulletin.
Support group members are family and friends of elderly people who live at the Harold and Grace Baker Centre, other homes for the aged, or are caring for their family members in the community.
Everyone is welcome.
If you are interested or know someone who would benefit from our program, please call the Director of Placement and Marketing, Sue Nemanic at (416) 654-2889 ext. 228.
