Welcome to the Harold & Grace Baker Centre!

The Harold and Grace Baker Centre is a non-profit Retirement Residence and Long Term Care Centre that offers excellent care and services, providing dignified support to all our residents. 

The Centre provides an environment where residents enjoy a fulfilling, safe and happy life. Residents enjoy their independence with the knowledge that as their care needs change, the Baker Centre will be able to provide support, as it offers a wide range of service care packages.

All of the suites in the Retirement Residence and Long Term Care Centre have large windows that overlook our beautiful grounds. All accommodation includes a meal plan, housekeeping, snacks, linen laundry, medication supervision and weekly visits by a physician.

What can the Baker Centre offer ?
With a wide variety of on-site services, excellent meals tailored to meet dietary needs and a full program schedule, the Centre is able to ensure that our residents enjoy their stay.  The attractive gift shop, Memory Lane which is run by the foundation entices residents, staff and visitors alike. Our Buttercup Bus enables residents to take regular outings into the community to enjoy various local activities, restaurants, shopping trips and alike.  Both the  Resident and Family Council, participate actively to continually improve the quality of life of the residents.   
Baker Centre has it's own support group, which is accessible to other family members in the community.  The Centre's Palliative Care program is excellent in providing dignified and supportive end of life care to residents while lending emotional support to their families.

The Harold and Grace Baker Centre is a 107-bed capacity Retirement Residence and a 120-bed capacity Long Term Care Centre, overseen by a volunteer
Board of Directors and managed by Revera Incorporated. We are a member of the Ontario Residential Care Association and the Ontario Long Term Care Association, receiving 3-year accreditation certification in both the Retirement Residence and Long Term Care Centre.
